Our machine needs 40″ wide of clearance (minimum) to access the dig site. It is 40″ from outside track to outside track. It is NOT able to climb any steps or stairs as it has a very low under carriage, approx. 2-3 inches clearance.
Please contact Ontario-One Call via phone or their website. It’s a free service where they will locate and mark out the utility lines that may or may not run through your property underground. These will include, but not limited to, hydro, gas and telecom. By law we cannot dig without having current locates.
A clean line of sight is necessary for us to work, we ask that all obstructions be removed or cut back, (such as old fence, bushes, debris etc.) before we arrive on the day of the dig. (We need to be able to move our machine around comfortably and to run wheel barrels to and from the holes)
